4 Delicious Cocktails for Your New Years Eve Party

Posted by Nicole Chenault on

Are you excited to ring in the New Year? It really feels like 2022 FLEW by, doesn’t it? We truly cannot believe that yet another year is almost over. So, let’s drink about it–with our pinkies UP! Because New Years Eve is arguably one of the most classy holidays. From champagne to black tie events, we’re here for this holiday’s elegant nature. In this blog post, we encourage you to think outside of the champagne box & really get creative with super elegant, cosmopolitan NYE cocktails. With that being said, here are a few of our favorite creative New Years Eve cocktails for your upcoming party.

The Infamous Espresso Martini

Can’t make it to NYC to watch the ball drop? No problem–just serve some espresso martinis at your NYE party while you and your guests watch on TV. We promise, this classy cocktail will have you all feeling like you’re vacationing in the Big Apple this NYE–minus all of that nasty traffic! Truly the best of both worlds.

Ingredients:

Ice cubes

1 ⅓ parts Vodka of your choice

⅔ parts Kahlua

⅔ parts espresso

3 Whole Coffee Beans (to garnish)

How to Make:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and add all ingredients. Shake and staring into a martini glass. Garnish with coffee beans & enjoy! Helpful hint? Prepare your espresso beforehand & let it cool off before you mix your drink! This way, it won’t melt the ice when you start shaking.

The Kir Royale

Doesn’t the name of this cocktail just scream “rich?” The Kir Royale is a delicious French cocktail that will have you and your NYE guests feeling extra sophisticated sipping after midnight. Perfect for those of you that aren’t quite ready to let go of the idea of celebrating NYE with champagne.

Ingredients:

1 oz Creme de cassis (or substitute with Chambord or Creme de mure)

4 oz Sparkling wine (champagne, prosecco, or other)

A Handful of Raspberries to garnish

How to Make:

Pour the Creme de cassis into a champagne glass and top with champagne! Garnish with your raspberries and serve immediately. The easiest, quickest, classiest way to celebrate NYE.

The Vodka Sunrise

Are you and your guests planning on partying until sunrise? If so, you should enjoy your NYE brunch with a Vodka Sunrise as well. Two sunrises on the first morning of the year? Sounds lucky to us!

Ingredients:

2 oz Vodka of your choice

4 oz Orange Juice

¾ oz Grenadine syrup

Ice for serving

Cocktail Cherry & Orange Slice for garnish

How to Make:

Fill a highball glass with ice, pour in vodka, orange juice and stir. Pour the grenadine into the center of the drink and let it sink to the bottom. Stir gently for the sunrise gradient effect. Garnish with an orange slice and cocktail cherry.

Negroni Sbagliato

This drink has been ALL the rage in 2022 thanks to House of The Dragon! We personally love this cocktail. It’s like a somehow classier version of the already beloved Aperol Spritz–probably because of its fancy name. Sip on a sbagliato with your guests this NYE and begin manifesting your Summer 2023 group vacation to Italy as the clock strikes midnight.

Ingredients (punch bowl serving size):

750mL Sweet Vermouth

750 mL Campari

1 cup Assorted Seasonal Fruit

750 mL Prosecco

Grated Cinnamon as a garnish

How to Make:

Add vermouth and liqueur to a punch bowl and add large ice cubes or an ice block, then add the fruit and top with your prosecco! Stir gently and garnish the bowl with freshly grated cinnamon and viola! The perfect classy, NYE punch bowl.
